When someone is having chemotherapy and their immune system is basically wiped out does anyone know what is the most likely route for VRE to get in and do the damage, especially if they are supposed to be covered by broad spectrum anti biotics? Also how long does it take for the immunocompromised patient to succumb to this dreadfull bug?
